Australia and New Zealand Casinos Require Immediate Vaccination
It is known that the coronavirus has existed for more than two years, the total death toll has exceeded the 5 million mark. However, in Australia and New Zealand, things are a little better with this when compared with other countries of the world. But even here, you have to fight this terrible virus by all means.
Many people are contributing, and this extends to the casino industry in Australia and New Zealand as well. Active gamblers this week received positive news regarding vaccination requirements.
Crown Resorts Takes Responsibility
Crown Resorts has faced challenges over the past few years. Although some of these problems were created by the company itself. This is a policy regarding vaccinations for visitors to gambling establishments.
The casino recently confirmed that it will continue to vaccinate at all its locations in the country. This policy is already in place in Crown Melbourne and Crown Sydney and will take effect in Crown Perth next year.
People who are on the territory of Crown Resorts must be fully vaccinated against the pandemic. This applies to everyone, including the hotel staff. And even if the government changes its approach, the vaccination mandate will remain in place until further notice.
According to Crown Administrator Steve McCann, since the beginning of the coronavirus, we promised our workers that we will always put health and wellness first. Thus, the company takes care not only of its employees but also of guests, partners, and investors.
SkyCity And Vaccinations
In New Zealand, SkyCity Entertainment is following Crown Resorts’ pandemic policy. The company will require all customers, contractors, investors, and employees to be fully vaccinated before crossing the threshold into gambling establishments.
It is not yet known if this policy will apply to the Australian-owned company, which is based in Adelaide. But it will affect establishments in Queenstown, Oakland, and Hamilton. As a reminder, SkyCity Auckland has been closed since 08/17/2021 due to the outbreak of a pandemic in the city.
At the moment, 90% of the population is vaccinated in the country. When the indicator reaches 100%, the restrictions will be lifted.
