Spin Samurai Casino Review

Spin Samurai has a strong Japanese flavour that sets it apart from most rivals. Its VIP levels are named after samurai ranks, and the library mixes slots with a live casino.

Spin Samurai operates under a Curaçao licence. It is not licensed in the UK.

The welcome package covers several deposits with match bonuses and spins, and high rollers get a separate bonus. In our records, wagering was 45x the deposit plus bonus. Current offers are listed on this page.

The VIP programme has nine levels named after samurai life. Note that deposits must be wagered three times before you can withdraw.

The library includes games from NetEnt, Playtech, Big Time Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Nolimit City, Red Tiger, Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil and Playson, with live games from Evolution.

Methods include Mastercard, Maestro, Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Trustly, Neosurf, iDebit, Bitcoin and bank transfer. Withdrawals can take up to nine days.

The site works in mobile browsers.

The main support channel is live chat.

Spin Samurai suits fans of Japanese themes in accepted markets, such as Australia.

Spin Samurai is licensed in Curaçao, not by the UK Gambling Commission. That means it is not authorised to offer gambling to players in Great Britain, and UK players do not get UK protections such as GAMSTOP, strict affordability checks or the UK’s complaint and dispute rules.

If you live in the UK, choose a UKGC-licensed casino instead – see our best UK casinos. If you live elsewhere, check that online casino play is legal where you are before you sign up.

Signing up at Spin Samurai is quick, but verification usually happens later than at UK-licensed sites:

1. Click Sign up and enter your email, a password, your name, date of birth and address.
2. Choose your currency – including crypto, where available – and enter a bonus code if the offer requires one.
3. Make your first deposit.
4. Before your first withdrawal, expect to upload ID, proof of address and sometimes proof of payment. Doing this early avoids long delays when you want to cash out.

Example: deposit €100 and get €100 bonus. At 45x deposit plus bonus, you need €9,000 of bets.

Offers change regularly, so always check the current terms on the casino site before you deposit.

Casinos without a UK licence are not part of the UK’s GAMSTOP scheme, so the tools available depend on the operator and its regulator. At Spin Samurai, ask support to set deposit limits or to close or self-exclude your account if you need a break. You can also use blocking software on your devices and your bank’s gambling block.

Free, confidential help is available wherever you are – for example Gambling Help Online in Australia (1800 858 858) or the National Gambling Helpline in the UK (0808 8020 133). Read more in our guide to gambling harm.

• KatsuBet – another Japanese-themed casino.
• Maneki – a lucky-cat casino.
• Kahuna – popular with Australian players.

Our overall score for Spin Samurai is 4.6 out of 5. It is based on four areas we check for every casino:

We also look at customer support, mobile play and the fairness of terms. Scores are reviewed when casinos change their offers or services.

Withdrawal times are typical ranges after the casino has approved your request, and can vary with verification and your bank. Prepaid vouchers such as Paysafecard usually cannot be used to withdraw, so you will need another method to cash out. Compare methods in our casino payments guide.

Spin Samurai is one of the most atmospheric casinos around, with a fun VIP ladder. Heavy wagering and the 3x deposit rule are the drawbacks.
