Casino Tournaments
Tournaments turn slots into a competition. You opt in, play the selected games during the tournament period and climb a leaderboard based on your results – for example your biggest win multiplier or total points. Top places win prizes. Tournaments with a "biggest multiplier" format are fairer for small-stake players, because a 500x win counts the same whatever your bet. Always check whether prizes are paid as cash or bonus funds.
Prize Drops
In a prize drop, cash prizes are awarded at random to players on participating games during a set period. Large networked promotions run by game providers can have very big prize pools spread across many casinos. You usually need to opt in and bet at least a minimum stake per spin to be eligible. Prize drops add a little extra to normal play, but they don't change the RTP of the games.
Refer a Friend Bonuses
Refer-a-friend promotions reward you when someone you invite signs up and deposits. The casino gives you a personal link or code, and once your friend qualifies, you receive a bonus. Only refer people you know who are of legal age and gamble responsibly, and never create accounts for others. Read more in our refer-a-friend bonus guide.
Loyalty and VIP Programmes
Most casinos reward regular play with loyalty points. Points unlock levels, and each level brings better rewards: higher cashback, personal reloads, faster withdrawals and dedicated support. Some programmes let you exchange points directly for bonus money. Loyalty rewards are pleasant extras, but they should never encourage you to play more than you planned.
Birthday Bonuses and Surprise Rewards
Many casinos send a gift on your birthday, usually free spins or a small amount of bonus cash, often for verified players who have deposited before. Others send surprise rewards by email or in the app. Keep your contact preferences up to date if you want to receive them.
How Loyalty Points Work: Example
| Level | Points needed | Typical rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 | Standard promotions, points exchange |
| Silver | 1,000 | Weekly free spins, small cashback |
| Gold | 5,000 | Higher cashback, birthday bonus |
| Platinum | 20,000 | Personal reloads, faster withdrawals |
| VIP | By invitation | Account manager, bespoke offers, events |
Points are typically earned per amount wagered – for example 1 point per £10 on slots, with table games earning fewer points. Each casino uses its own system, so check the loyalty page for the exact rules.
Gamification: Missions, Levels and Bonus Wheels
Many modern casinos add game-like features to keep play interesting. You might complete missions such as "play three new slots", unlock achievements, collect items or open reward chests. Bonus wheels give a free spin each day or week with prizes such as free spins, bonus cash or loyalty points. These features can be fun extras, but they are designed to encourage more play – set your limits first and treat the rewards as a bonus, not a goal.

Casino tournaments are competitions on selected games where players earn points for their results and the top players on the leaderboard win prizes.
You share your personal referral link or code with a friend. When they sign up and meet the qualifying conditions, such as making a deposit, you receive a bonus.
Many do. Birthday bonuses are usually free spins or bonus cash sent to verified players around their birthday.
In most prize drops, winnings are paid as real cash with no wagering, but check the terms of each promotion.
You earn points for real-money bets. Points move you up loyalty levels and can be exchanged for bonuses, cashback or other rewards, depending on the casino.
