CEOs of the Largest Casinos will Perform at G2E
The Global Gaming Expo will take place in early October, which means it’s time for the organizers to present who will be the speakers at the exhibition. These invited CEOs from the largest casinos, who will tell the audience how to ensure the operation of institutions in a pandemic and strict quarantine requirements.
For laymen who do not follow the news globally, it might seem that humanity has removed the main threat from itself, and the world is gradually adapting to the existence of the coronavirus. While vaccinations are paying off, and governments and the gambling industry are devising mutually beneficial operating rules, the danger is far from over. The delta strain is still considered a serious threat that can disrupt passenger traffic and hurt tourism. Meanwhile, the largest gambling establishments are not designed for residents at all – they receive an impressive income precisely at the expense of visitors, mainly from those regions where gambling is limited or completely prohibited.
The speakers will be played by representatives of MGM Resorts International, Wynn Resorts Ltd, and Hard Rock International. The discussion will touch upon the potential directions for the development of gambling in the current conditions. Probable topics for discussion are the popularization of sports betting, the introduction of contactless slot machines, and the use of cryptocurrencies to buy bets.
The event will also be attended by top officials of Nevada – in particular, Governor Sisolak. At the same time, the official will check how well his directive of September 2 is working, according to which conferences with more than 4 thousand participants are held without the mandatory requirement to wear masks, but only subject to preliminary registration of those who wish and everyone has at least partial vaccination.
